2nd Annual Milwaukee Homecoming Dinner

The National W Club hosted the 2nd Annual Milwaukee Area W Club Member Homecoming Dinner on Wednesday, October 14, at the University Club of Milwaukee. Nearly 50 W Club members attended the dinner. Following a wonderful buffet meal, National W Club Membership Director Jill Ries (Golf, 2007) welcomed the crowd and expressed the W Club’s ongoing effort to reach out to members living in the Milwaukee area. Incoming W Club President Rob Andringa (Hockey and Baseball, 1991) shared with the audience his excitement and passion for becoming the next president of the National W Club. Andringa gave the crowd an update on the successful fall the W Club is having, a recap of events that have taken place, and a preview of events still to come. Executive Associate Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst gave the group an update on the current status of the Athletic Department and plans for future growth and development for UW’s athletic facilities. Eichorst also answered questions W Club members had regarding the department. The 3rd Annual Milwaukee Homecoming Dinner will take place on the Wednesday before the 2010 Homecoming Football game.
