A round-robin tennis match, a reception with former teammates, a taking in a Badger Football victory was the recipe for a great Men’s Tennis Celebrate the Legacy Reunion. On Friday, September 11, twenty former Badgers joined members of the current Badger Men’s Tennis Team in a round-robin match at Nielson Tennis Stadium. Bragging rights went to the team of Danny Westerman (Tennis, 2002) and Dan Arends (Tennis, 1985). Following the match, over 40 alumni and their guests gathered for a reception in Heritage Hall. National W Club Membership Director Jill Ries, Men’s Head Tennis Coach Greg Van Emburgh, and Associate AD Marija Pientka addressed the crowd and welcomed them back on campus.

On Saturday, September 12, Men’s Tennis Alumni and their guests participated in pre-game in Heritage Hall. Alumni and the current Men’s Tennis Team members were introduced on the field during the second quarter of the UW vs. Fresno State football game.
